How well do you really understand your app’s speed, performance and error rates in countries around the world?
Over the past two years we’ve found that most of Neumob’s eventual customers had suspicions that their app load times and in-app performance were slower than they wanted them to be. App Store “star” reviews might be low; traveling employees reported poor performance when overseas; and congestion and peak periods often slowed the app to a crawl, even if it normally performed well in markets like the US, UK and elsewhere. Yet they didn’t really know, and that’s why Neumob’s SDK metrics have often been the first step in diagnosing whether, when and where to accelerate mobile app performance.
Today we’re excited to announce a great leap forward in the Neumob SDK and brings “Free Metrics Mode” to any app, anywhere in the world. Brands or app owners who register for Neumob’s simple SDK can now choose between measuring app performance and accelerating app performance – or can start with measurement, and then move on to acceleration. Sometimes you need to know that a problem even exists before you’re able to fix it.
Metrics Mode can be chosen right at set-up. Simply including and initializing the Neumob SDK with a single line of code will provide your application access to our global cloud network, and will allow you to measure your app data traffic by country, by mobile operator, by network type (3G vs. 4G vs. WiFi etc.) and by objects/URLs. You’ll be able to target the third-party calls that might be slowing your app down, and get a front-row seat to the actual, lived experience of your app’s users in every country in the world, up to 1 million requests per month.
To get started, you’ll sign up for a free Neumob account, which allows you to register your application for a client key. If this is your first time using Neumob, check out the portal, and you’ll be up and running right away.
Prefer to let Neumob diagnose your app’s speed and performance instead? We’ve got that covered as well – just send us a few bits of information and we’ll provide a robust, no-obligation Performance Analysis on your mobile app for you to get going, and you can decide from there if you’re interested in proceeding with the Neumob SDK for metrics, acceleration or both.
